It is important to note that in Sydney rainwater is classed as non potable, meaning it is not fit for drinking. With a growing importance on Sustainable living on the Northern Beaches a grey water system or recycled (rainwater) system can be installed to most modern homes to service the laundry and some toilets. When designing the inlet to your new or existing rainwater tank, it’s our recommendation that you have a First Flush system installed to minimise dust, dirt and debris flowing into your tank supply.
Our plumbers can install new or replace existing pumps of all styles. At EZE-FLOW Plumbing we always recommend your new pump be fitted with a rains to mains water switch or solenoid valve to automatically switch to mains supply when your tank is low on water. This will prevent your pump from burning out unnecessarily. If you do not have this installed on your existing pump give us a call and our plumbers can easily fit one for you.
